The Juneau District office is staffed with six Adult Probation Officers, two Criminal Justice Technicians, and an Office Assistant. Their office is located at 121 Seward Street in downtown Juneau. Also located in the Juneau District office are the Region II Chief Probation Officer and a Mental Health Clinician.
The Juneau District office provides both probation and parole supervision to adult offenders in the communities of Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Yakutat, Hoonah, Kake, Angoon, Gustavus, Elfin Cove, Tenakee Springs, and other small communities in the region, most of which are accessible only by plane or ferry.
In addition to probation and parole supervision, the Juneau District office manages an Electronic Monitoring program in Juneau, houses a community based sex offender management program, and supervises one of the Division of Probation and Parole’s Probation Accountability with Certain Enforcement (PACE) programs that are being introduced across the State.
