The Department of Corrections offers both the VINELink
website and a toll-free automated inmate information and notification service.
Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) service is available
24 hours a day, seven days a week. Victims can call the toll-free number
1-800-247-9763 and receive an inmate's current location and tentative
release date.
Victims may also register to receive an automated notification when an
inmate is released, escapes, is placed in a work release
facility, or dies while in custody.
The VINE system is anonymous and confidential. To register on the
VINE system, visit the VINELink
website or call 1-800-247-9763. For after-hours assistance, victims
can call (907) 269-0922.
