A Handbook for Victims of Crime in Alaska   This Alaska Judicial Council handbook discusses the criminal justice process and the victim's role, rights, and resources.   Spanish version

Alaska Office of Victim Rights   The Alaska agency charged with assisting victims of crime. The website contains excellent information and links for crime victims.

Sex Offender Registry   The Alaska Department of Public Safety maintains this list of sexual offenders required by law to register with the state. The list is searchable by name, zip code or city.

Violent Crimes Compensation Board   This Alaska state agency provides monetary compensation to victims of violent crimes.

Abused Women's Aid in Crisis (AWAIC)   An Anchorage nonprofit organization with the goal of intervening in the cycle of domestic violence by providing shelter for safe living for women and their children, counseling and advocacy for children, women, and men, and community education.
